Three weeks ago I read the first of the Travis Chase novels (The Breach) and in my review, I said that I would not be continuing with the series. But I lied. I’ve now completed the second book, which is just as silly as the first. I nearly wrote that it had a lower body count compared to the thousands killed in the first book, but then I remembered that Ghost Country actually features the wiping out of the whole of humanity, so I may have been wrong about that. Picture a cross between the Jack Reacher novels and the Back to the Future movies and you have an idea what these books will be like. And I absolutely, positively promise not to read the third and final volume of the trilogy.
