But it&#8217;s not King&#8217;s best effort (he improved as a writer), it&#8217;s very, very long, and the Kindle edition these days is padded out with lots of material that didn&#8217;t make it into the original book.  Like a &#8220;director&#8217;s cut&#8221;, but for books.  Unnecessary, in my opinion.
