\nIn the 2004 presidential race, the Democrats won about 60 million votes. This year, they’ll do better, but let’s be conservative about this. So last week, CNN was saying that Edwards had the support of around 12% of them (7.2 million Democratic voters) and this week he’s up to 17% — a gain of 5%, or 3,000,000 new supporters.
